CHELSEA FOOTBALL CLUB





Chelsea Football Club widely known as 'The Blues' is a West London Club owned by Russian Billionaire- Roman Abramovich.
The Football club came into limelight in 2005 when Jose Mourinho- ''The Special One'' took over as the coach winning the Premier League that same year in a glamorous style winning 29 games, conceding only 15 goals and securing a total of 95 points.
Chelsea football club kept on triumphing in the Barclays Premiership other local competitions and the champions league.
Surprisingly, Jose Mourinho left the club in 2007, an act that led to many gossips, but was agreed to be a mutual agreement between the club and the special one.
Since then, other coaches have handled Chelsea F.C's first team including the likes of Avram Grant, Luiz Philip Scolari, Gus Hiddink and Carlo Ancelotti who is the coach till date.

Chelsea Football Club are a top flight English Football Club based in West London. The team founded on March 14th, 1905 play in the Premier League and have practically spent most of their history in the top tier of the glamorous English Football.
At the beginning, “The Blues” were not too successful but at present, they have won the English Premiership three (3) times, the FA cup five (5) times, the League cup four (4) times and the UEFA cup twice (2). The closest Chelsea Football Club came to winning the most wanted UEFA champions league was when Manager Avram Grant led them to the Finals in 2008. The past decade has been Chelsea’s most successful period in their history crowned by winning consecutive Premier League Titles in 2005 and 2006 and reaching their first UEFA champions league final in 2008.
Since the inception of the club, Chelsea Football Club have had only one home- the 42, 055 capacity Stamford Bridge football stadium in Fulham where they play in their home colours- Royal blue shirts and Shorts with white socks.
